I know, I know — summer is not over yet but…

doesn’t this look so APPEALING!??!
what i’m doing to center myself for fall
Albeit basic, I am ready for fall, I’m ready to wear a coat, and I’m ready to be cozy under a blanket while drinking tea and eating a date cinnamon roll cookie (no, I did not plan that perfect dada recipe integration).
I always feel like fall is a nice time to reset and center before the end of the year. I clean a little, I cook a bit more, and I overall just enjoy walking outside without becoming a puddle of sweat. It’s always the time of year that, for so many of us, seriously goes by in a blink and the holidays creep up before we know it. So, I try to be as present as possible in this transition.

One of my best friends, Carolyn Brown, runs a program with her nutrition practice called Week of Wellness (WOW Week). I’ve done this program 4 times already because for someone who cooks for a living, sometimes I forget to properly nourish myself, too! After a long day of testing / cooking, it often feels easier for me to order something quick or eat “whatever” than mindfully make something for myself - with intention.
I have never done a single program in my life apart from this one and that is VERY MUCH by design because it’s not annoying or restrictive like most “resets” (literally i’d rather live in a ditch than do a juice cleanse). During WOW week, everyone gets a thorough guide book with recipes + tons of nutrition tips, and access to a private WhatsApp group where you can ask questions directly to Carolyn, share photos, and overall have a sense of accountability and community. I’ve already signed up and you can join me here if you’d like. I told Carolyn I wanted to share this in my newsletter and she has generously given me a discount code for you guys: DADAEATS)! There are limited spots left, so sign up ASAP if you’re interested!
2. this is an Ayurvedic health tip that…
